Doing what feels natural for your family is always the right choice, in my opinion! And I think it's fabulous that you introduce your littles to things that interest you. I think that galleries and museums and restaurants and exploring help them to develop a more complex view of the world. That being said, I find it's harder to take them now, when they are a bit older, because they resist going and they would rather be with their friends or just hanging out at home. And boy have they honed their ability to complain when they don't like something. ;)JoKnowshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10282621916141807042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19766666724444291.post-82348383815244693792014-08-13T18:52:54.624-04:002014-08-13T18:52:54.624-04:00I stayed home when the kids were little, and I kno...I stayed home when the kids were little, and I know exactly what you are talking about. That is the problem I have with "one size fits all" advice-- you have to follow your intellectual instinct. You are a smart woman and a wonderful mother because you listen to your kids, and more importantly, you hear them! She is still on two, because she wakes up at 5am (help!). She does sleep through the night (although 5am just barely qualifies as morning) so at least there's that. It's time to do something, just trying to figure out what. Sigh...Mama Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17489450713167896817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19766666724444291.post-24835466859328107682014-08-12T06:56:27.453-04:002014-08-12T06:56:27.453-04:00Thanks Jane! xoThanks Jane! xoMama Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17489450713167896817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19766666724444291.post-49810457340843002452014-08-12T04:47:14.671-04:002014-08-12T04:47:14.671-04:00Such great shots! She doesn't nap on her own yet? How do you manage? Did she switch to one nap already?
