Some days I'm hard on myself about doing chores during Audrey's naps, and others I just lay around the entire time and do NOTHING, and it's so amazing. Everybody needs alone time in their head. :)Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01270655057622637015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19766666724444291.post-79154652046143306602012-06-27T08:47:11.954-04:002012-06-27T08:47:11.954-04:00This sounds like my everyday :-) Judah is actually...This sounds like my everyday :-) Judah is actually a champion sleeper (at night) and nap time. Im waiting for him to wake up right now. I do miss the early days of when he needed to be near me to nap. I would make sure I was propped up on the couch or bed and let him halfway sleep on my lap while I crochet or read a book. Now he is so independent and perfectly fine sleeping on his own, makes my heart sad sometimes but I know its a good thing for us both.Mycharmingcolorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02546056836938625454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19766666724444291.post-47886609749286115382012-06-26T16:42:27.601-04:002012-06-26T16:42:27.601-04:00Hehe, I love "quite time" and "alon...Hehe, I love "quite time" and "alone time". I love the pictures of Wyatt "catching" you having alone time :)Ruthiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17030289955645949644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19766666724444291.post-71055394664667848432012-06-25T20:18:52.191-04:002012-06-25T20:18:52.191-04:00I am so glad you posted this today! (but you're right, it's so important to take some time.)little miss olivehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09540262327167845010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19766666724444291.post-63805390173858061012012-06-25T15:57:16.968-04:002012-06-25T15:57:16.968-04:00I agree with Tabetha. You NEED that time to yourself to prioritize and think straight! :)JoKnowshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10282621916141807042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19766666724444291.post-33981002693849477622012-06-25T14:24:31.231-04:002012-06-25T14:24:31.231-04:00Alone time is sooooo important-- for everyone, but...Alone time is sooooo important-- for everyone, but for parents especially. If mommy & daddy are happy, the children are happy. So wonderful that you've figured that out early-- make alone time part of your routine & keep it-- life & parenting will only get more hectic {& wonderful} as time goes on!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09845655119160315582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19766666724444291.post-12591252172078330552012-06-25T14:11:54.732-04:002012-06-25T14:11:54.732-04:00Our life needs balance, and it's perfectly fin...Our life needs balance, and it's perfectly fine to let yourself to be lazy. There is time to play, and there is time to rest. It took me some time and actually my then little son to understand, when my 3 years old brought me a pillow and said: "mommy needs some rest, mommy is tired", and wouldn't let anyone bother me for about 10 minutes or so. It was an eye opening experience: kids need me rested too! Since then I find "me" time to sink into my own world... :)<br />Great post!Marina@Picnic at Marinahttp://www.picnicatmarina.comnoreply@blogger.com
