This week he: rode the bus and got a tiny toy shark in the big big city / ate soup with a spoon (a rarity!) / learned to identify pear trees and cherry trees and his favorite crab apple trees / started telling me way more detail about his time at school; who cried, who doesn't like grapes... there is so much preschool intrigue to catch up on / ran into thomas the train in harvard square / seemed to get older overnight.
This week she: figured out how to flop from sitting onto her belly, it startles her every time / repeated her first real word, 'bonk' (poor thing gets her fair share of bonks) / continued to sleep in her own crib until 4:30 - 5:30 in the morning, we call that through the night here! / turned 9 months old, she's been out longer than she was in, and I just can't believe it!
On each picture your girl looks sooooooo amazingly cute. It makes me long for another baby.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope her nights will be better and longer soon ! I know how it feels like, my kids were only good sleepers up until my boy turned 2 and my girl 3 :-(
Hold on!
Natalie
She is a cutie, I wish I could just keep her in this wonderful baby stage (but maybe with a bit more sleep!). Thank you!
DeleteThere is a shocking amount of gossip that can be generated from a typical preschool day lol. Its funny how babies sleep so little and teenagers sleep so much-- obviously the over sleeping is preferable!
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny to hear what he reports from school. He has never been that verbal, so it's been a treat. And I can't wait until these predawn risers are sleeping until noon. Bring it on!
