14/52

a portrait of my child once a week, every week, in 2013

Unseasonably chilly. We got our hands and knees dirty in the garden this morning. It was a day full of brilliant sunshine and frigid breezes. We all could have used one more layer (I just don't want to put those winter coats on now that we're fully invested in April), but we made the best of it and enjoyed those rays. I think this little guy is going to be quite the garden helper this year!

  1. I read this as "unreasonably chilly" which might be pretty accurate. I'll try to send some sunshine your way

  6. We are prepping up our lawn tractor today. Though it is sort of bittersweet-- our lawn has a lovely meadow look to it right now, and I think the clover field next door has spread to our side yard as it is currently a riot of purple. Sigh.

    1. I always love blooming 'weeds'. Sometimes it's painful to tame the wild.
