a portrait of my child once a week, every week, in 2013
Unseasonably chilly. We got our hands and knees dirty in the garden this morning. It was a day full of brilliant sunshine and frigid breezes. We all could have used one more layer (I just don't want to put those winter coats on now that we're fully invested in April), but we made the best of it and enjoyed those rays. I think this little guy is going to be quite the garden helper this year!

I read this as "unreasonably chilly" which might be pretty accurate. I'll try to send some sunshine your way
ReplyDeleteI like that... it was 'unreasonable'!

Thanks so much Holli, he is looking pretty rugged :)
DeleteIt´s too chilly here too - this is the weirdest spring in years!
ReplyDeleteWe're finally getting a little taste of warmth- finally!
Deletesuch a sweet look on his face even in the cold xx
ReplyDeleteAw thanks Brenda.
DeleteExciting that it's time to work in the garden! I have plans to do just that today. Your little W is just so darling.
ReplyDeleteHope your garden work went well too!
DeleteWe are prepping up our lawn tractor today. Though it is sort of bittersweet-- our lawn has a lovely meadow look to it right now, and I think the clover field next door has spread to our side yard as it is currently a riot of purple. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI always love blooming 'weeds'. Sometimes it's painful to tame the wild.
Deleteswoonful adore your photo of little smith. he is just so so sweet!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Rebecca, he looks like a tough cookie to me here... but yes, sweet always :)
DeleteBeautiful photo, looks as though he's thinking of something rather intensely ;D
ReplyDeleteHe is an intense little guy, thank you Marie.
DeleteLovely close up. He is very contemplative!
ReplyDeleteI know, so much thought for such a little face :) Thank you Laura!
DeleteI sure do love his serious look. :)
