A beautiful day on a great camping trip out west; most of my favorite vacation memories have involved road trips. We haven't taken a good one since having Little Smith and we are seriously thinking about it/ planning for this summer. He's a bit young and not always a fan of the car so disaster is a possibility, but if he's inherited anything from his parents then road tripping is in his blood. Crossing my fingers that we make it work.

  1. Go the road trip...even if you have to adjust things a bit for your little man! Lovely photo.

  2. How exciting! You guys should so do it! It will be fun! And if it turns into a disaster you can always drive back and laugh about it later. Oh babies... How they change everything! :-)

  3. Oh how I love a good road trip! I agree with the others, go ahead & take the chance, just remain flexible!

  4. We love road trips, too!! And it is quite tricky with the little ones. Perhaps starting them young will make them love it just as much as we do? I hope so! This weekend Gus and I are going to the cape without Craig and while the trip is relatively short for a road trip (2 1/2 hours) I'm still a little nervous! I hope you guys get to go somewhere fun this summer and that your little guy loves it, car and all!

  5. We loooove road trips, but littles can put a damper on the fun. We just plan to stop a billion times, and hope for the best. I hope you can get out on the road soon! We're itching for a long road trip, too.

  6. We used to love road trips before the kiddos came along... right now they are not so great in the car. But some day, we will all hopefully be up for adventure! Fantastic photo, by the way!
