Snapshot: 7

Confession: Socks and sandals happen... and not in a cool way. This is what you get when you start out hiking on a really hot day and the temperature at the top of the mountain is 50 degrees lower than it was at the bottom. Big Smith finds it endlessly amusing. He is equally amused that I hike in sandals. I swear I could climb Mt. Everest in these!

As a side note I've been participating in the March Photo a Day challenge. It's been super fun to have a little assignment each day and I'll share my first week of pictures tomorrow.

  2. Chacos and tevas have saved my feet on many an occasion. I used to wear them every day in the summer when I was working at camps. I swear I could go running in mine (when they're broken it). They're the best things in the world. I'm always hiking/camping/kayaking in mine.
